Customer service was second to none. A hiccup with my order was corrected in one working day without a fuss. As in missing parts delivered to my house that quickly so I could get on with the project.

I kinda love it when businesses stuff up but then show such positive customer support. Can’t get it right all the time, but you can take care of your support base.

Just finished a project to transform a steep site to a usable site. The gabions were perfect for the job. I filled them with concrete waste from a demolition site and with some additional ballast rock from from local supplier. The wall was backfilled with brick rubble from the same site and it was capped with soil I acquired from another site. I capped the gabion with river gravel(10-15mm). For about 18 metres of wall I paid out less than $2000(I provided all the labour!).It has transformed the land to become a large useful space.
The gabions were a great solution. The easy flow of water through the wall avoids the most common failure of conventional retaining walls.

I just want to thank Heather, David and Joe for being a great team providing first class service. I picked up my Gabion1 cage kits from their yard today. Everything from my first enquiry has been prompt and helpful. I’ve learnt a lot from the Gabion1 staff and their informative technical information and videos. I initially approached three companies about purchasing gabion cages. Only Gabion1 responded. They are the gabion professionals. Number one! The only ones I will be recommending.

We purchased the gabion cages for a segmented curve in a native garden, already having a quantity of material to utilize in their use.
Firstly, heather was most helpful, and this encouraged me.
David followed up well.
And the delivery was super organized.

Gabion1 has an easy to navigate and informative website. Ordering was straight forward and the quantity of rocks required was automatically calculated on the order form. The order arrived promptly and assembly was straightforward.

Good morning David,
Thanks for your email asking for photos. The context of our project over the last couple of years was to dispose of many hundreds of bricks that resulted from our house renovation. With tons of excavated dirt, including a pile of about 3meters high, the gabions were used to retain new gardens and pathways. They were a great solution and saved us having to pay large amounts to have them transported to land fill.
Thanks for your product which is not only versatile and visually appealing but great value for money.

I found these guys on the web by googling & also knowing what I was looking for. Other companies’ websites for the same product were no where near as helpful or clear as Gabion1. I received a quote within hours of requesting one. I also went back to them a few times over a few days with amendments, (I felt like I was being annoying!) but nothing was too hard for them to answer. They even suggested different size ideas / combinations to me to assist with keeping the postage cost down, I found this amazing. Information provided regarding construction was super helpful. Price was also very competitive but to be honest because of the great service, cheaper product elsewhere wouldn’t have stopped me using Gabion1. Overall, a fantastic company to deal with. Service was impeccable. I dealt with Heather, Karen & David. Top notch guys, I would go above & beyond to recommend Gabion1 to anyone.
